Are your skylights compliant with New Zealand building codes?
Yes. All skylights meet NZBC requirements for natural light (G7), ventilation (G4), weather tightness (E2), and safety glazing (F2).
Do solar-powered skylights need wiring or an electrician?
No. Solar skylights include a battery pack and remote keypad. They charge via a solar panel and don't need hard wiring or an electrician.
What happens if it rains and my skylight is open?
VELUX electric and solar skylights come with built-in rain sensors that automatically close the skylight when rain is detected.
